Dear Minister Saks and Health Canada,

I was disappointed to see in several news reports that you intend to ‘restrict’ flavours in vapour products. Canadians who vape have been encouraged by your measured approach to this issue. I know that now these Canadians are worried.

Then today, I came across a CTV News piece that stated, “The federal minister of addictions office told CTV News on Monday it expects new legislation to come in ‘about a month,’ but added there are still several kinks to work out.”

On behalf of the 1.9 million adults in this country who vape, I am reaching out to confirm if this information is accurate. While CTV is not a stakeholder, we Canadians who use flavored vaping products certainly are, and this matter directly impacts us.
